Wadi Taibah Company – a subsidiary of Taibah University in Madinah – and Elm Company – specialized in information security – signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing a product documenting digital academic certificates, known as “Digital Education Certificate” via blockchain technology.

The product aims to document and authenticate educational certificates through modern technologies, in order to contribute to building the innovation system and linking it to local economic products.

The CEO of Wadi Taibah Company, Dr. “Abdul Rahman Al-Olayan,” explained that the development of the digital academic certification documentation product will contribute to reducing dependence on increasing reliability and will increase the speed of performance and the level of efficiency, by relying on the blockchain technology used in verifying transactions and academic certificates to a degree High security and ease of sharing with different parties.

Al-Olayan added that this product is a new step in the overall goal of launching towards innovation with one of the leading innovative companies in digital transactions in Saudi Arabia, Elm Company.
